Guane, a land to discover

Tour its surroundings and observe fossils of a seabed that emerged to give us these landscapes of yellow vermilion lands with which their houses have been built for more than 300 years.

Inhabited by the Guanes, an indigenous race dedicated to ceramics and fiber, cotton and pineapple weaving. A royal road built by these indigenous people leads from Barichara to the town of Guane of less than 500 inhabitants, where the Archaeological and Paleontological Museum is located with ceramics, necklaces and other objects of this culture, as well as a large number of fossils that have millions of years. In its 7 kilometers you can enjoy a great variety of fauna and flora typical of this semi-desert land.
